Obama. Missoula.

Please note the "Griz" sign in back there, behind Obama... Proof that yes, he was in Missoula. And I saw him.

I already loved him after his 2004 speech at the DNC. And because of his television viewing tendencies. And I've now made a point to determine exactly what he proposes for his presidency in more detail than I had before. I remember listening to NPR's news article on the 60th birthday of NATO. I can start there, by figuring this one out. Obama feels that NATO capacity (read: troops?) should be strengthened.
Well, I'm still unclear about his foreign policy stances in comparison to other candidates, but NPR did mention his proposal to increase diplomatic talks with antagonistic countries. Diplomacy might leave less people dead. I support that.

I do believe, as he mentioned today in his speech here, that we can spend some money for the people of this country, and end the financing of a never-ending war elsewhere. He called again for the need for health prevention system and not a system that only cares for disease...

And what I can gather regarding the King family's request for a new cabinet post assigned to address poverty is that Clinton-Edwards seems to be making public statements supporting this level of (much needed) response, while Obama's proposes giving money to specific and proposed community-level programs to combat poverty. I'm not sure how he's addressed the requests from the King family to institute specific chances (cabinet post?) in the first 100 days of office.

Oh heck, I like Obama's attention to babies, too.
