Near spring time, on leap day

In near spring and in close proximity to my home, a graveyard. & poet Richard Hugo. At the roots of a beautiful tree. Unfortunately, the snow is all gone from the ground in my yard. The lawn is muddy and pitiful. The sun shines most days now. Crows walks across the road, not bothering to fly, which I find a good sign.

The epitaph:
Believe you and I sing tiny and wise and could if we had to eat stone and go on.
Two years ago this summer I spent two weeks driving across the country, searching for landmarks. I like having settled right near another (unbeknownst when I first rented).
And more Hugo on the back of another's gravestone, same cemetery:
Thanks Missoula. You have good cemeteries.
