I must write a ballad for my prosody class this weekend.
Haven't updated the blog in...forever.
Since forever started, I've been up to the following (a short list):
a. taking pictures of skeletons of the hunted, found as I was driving to Milltown, MT & stopped at a trout fishing pull off.
b. '' pictures of the gradual decay of roses.
c. At the Missoula Art Museum, an exhibit is up as part of the "Year of Trimpin". A map of the Milltown dam about to be removed (a historic event) & Trimpin's use of acoustics as art. Trimpin!
d. Listening to Yeah Yeah Yeah's Show Me Your Bones
e. Read and went insane with poet Thylias Moss' Tokyo Butter.
f. Took more pictures of decaying roses.
g. Discovered that certain anti-malaria medicine causes hallucinations and paranoia. Not for the depressed, anxious, emotionally fragile, etc. Uhoh.
h. wrote the following line in a poem:
drawer full of paint sample strips, small Jacob’s ladder of ivories, each more pollutedi. watched a stink bug sulk down my hallway. Still awaiting its arrival to my apartment door.

j. continued a listening obsession with Magnolia Electric Co.
k. taught my students the benefits of watching Meryl Streep & Christopher Cooper for 10 min. in Adaptation
l. finally watched a new episode of Lost without falling asleep because 9pm is too late for me
m. tried acyclic painting. failed at it.
n. Obtained and reveled over a copy of C.D. Wright's & Deborah Luster's artistic collaboration venture, One Big Self: Prisoners of Louisiana
