in honor of [life]

I would like to personally celebrate my aliveness, post-finals week. Indulge me. Here are some photos I've taken over the semester that I've not yet shared (and oh, how you'll thank me):

1) salad greens. growing in a field of Homestead Organics Farm, Hamilton, MT. pretty, in their own lettucey way, aren't they?

2) Montana sunset. Somewhere between here and...Billings? sunsets know no location. they simple set. sometimes along a body of water.

3) I took a pre-winter walk in Rattlesnake Park. Turns out I was walking on what are designated skiing trails. But, the colors. Amazing. Something about the moment when nature notices winter is thisclose, and it lets out with final vibrancy. These red branches, for instance, dew-covered and...vibrant:
4) The same park. Middle of the woods. Apparently, the trails are "one way". Who knew.
